6 cups chicken broth
2 cans (14.5 ounce size) diced tomatoes, undrained
1/3 cup quick cook barley
1 tablespoon parsley
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups cubed cooked turkey
1 1/2 cup sliced carrots
1 1/2 cup sliced celery
1 medium onion, chopped
1 package (10 ounce size) chopped okra
directions
In a large saucepan combine first 9 ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 50 minutes. Add turkey and vegetables. Cover and simmer until vegetables are tender.
