Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.

Made with with chocolate cake cake mix and vanilla pudding mix because that's what I had on hand. Amazing recipe. I agree that it serves more than 10 people for sure!

This served more like 14-16 people. It's surprisingly rich for being a yellow cake mix. So good though.

Really easy to make and delicious. Two cakes gave me 30 servings, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream along-side of each.
