1 package chocolate cake (or devils food) 6 Skor bars or Heath bars, frozen 1 big tub Cool Whip 2 packs chocolate mousse (I use Jello's chocolate silk)
directions
Put Skor/Heath bars in freezer Make mousse. Chill for 1 hour (or follow the directions). Bake cake. Let cool. Make sure Cool Whip is thawed.
Crush Skor bars in a ziploc bag.
Then, once your ingredients are ready, you can begin putting it together: line the bottom of a transparent bowl with the chocolate cake.
Next, line with chocolate mousse. Next, line with Cool Whip. Next, line with most of the crushed Skor bars.
Then, start all over again, with the exception of just sprinkling the Skor bars on top to make it look decorative! and wall-la! That is your death by chocolate.
SO good! I ate WAY too much of this but it was worth every calorie!

I modify this just a little. First, I buy a chocolate cake from the bakery - just one in a pan and with frosting. I have tried it with cupcakes too but the cake is easier. Cut it up into squares and put in the bowl with the frosting sides up. I also use the premade chocolate mousse in cups in the dairy section instead of making my own. I use the chocolate cool whip frosting not regular cool whip. I also use milky way midnight bars instead of skor. Make and prepare for sugar coma!

Everyone loves this dessert! It looks good, smells good, and the taste is to die for.
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
