  1-2 hrs

ingredients

2 tablespoons light butter
3/4 cup water
2/3 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup packaged shredded coconut
1/2 cup chopped pecans
5 large egg whites
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup fat-free sour cream
1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 package German chocolate cake mix

directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 13" x 9" baking pan with cooking spray.

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter with the water. Stir in the brown sugar until smooth. Pour evenly into the baking pan. Sprinkle the coconut and pecan evenly over the melted sugar mixture.

This is super simple to make. It looks crazy after it's baked but it is delicious. I will definitely make again. Great recipe!
