ingredients
1 cup flour, PLUS"PLUS" means this ingredient in addition to the one on the next line, often with divided uses
2 tablespoons flour
3 tablespoons baking cocoa
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup warm water
1/3 cup oil
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
directions
Combine dry ingredients. Combine wet ingredients. Beat both together for 2 minutes.
Place in a 9-inch greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 to 35 minutes or tested done.
Cool in pan 10 minutes on rack and invert cake to rack to cool completely.
