BLT Macaroni Salad

ingredients
2 cups elbow macaroni pasta
5 green onions, finely chopped
1 large tomato, diced
1 1/4 cup diced celery
1 1/4 cup mayonnaise
5 tablespoons vinegar
1/4 teaspoon salt
fresh ground black pepper, to taste
1 pound bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
directions
Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain and rinse in cold water.
In a large bowl, combine the macaroni, green onions, tomato and celery. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, vinegar, salt and pepper. Pour over macaroni mixture and toss to coat.
Cover and chill for at least 2 hours. Just before serving, add bacon.

Made 1st time for guests. They loved it as did we. Probably will always use this recipe for mac salad. I had to make two copies of recipe for my guests to take home!

EXCELLENT! Great twist to a summer cook out staple. I myself am not a mayo fan, so I decreased the portion ever so slightly. This will become my standard/signature macaroni salad. Thanks for sharing.

I made this salad for about 20 for a church social it was great!!! I used large and small elbow noodles!
