ingredients
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
16 slices cinnamon raisin bread, sliced thinly
8 eggs
2 cups milk
3 tablespoons maple syrup
directions
Cream butter, cinnamon, and sugar until smooth. Spread onto half the slices of bread and top with remaining slices.
Place sandwiches in two greased 9-inch square baking dishes. Blend eggs, milk, and syrup and pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes. Serve with maple syrup.
