4 tablespoons creamy porter or stout beer
fresh raspberries
fresh mint sprig

We'll be honest, if you don't like the taste of beer then don't try this recipe. We loved it though - the strong porter gave a great contrast to the sweet ice cream. We used vanilla ice cream made from coconut milk (doesn't have a coconut flavor) but it would be fun to experiment with other flavors (chocolate ice cream anyone?). We served these in small shot glasses.
