Greek Spinach Squares

ingredients
1 large onion, chopped
1 bunch green onions, chopped
olive oil, to saute
1 package (10 ounce size) frozen spinach, thawed and drained
4 large eggs
1 container (12 ounce size) small curd cottage cheese
1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
1/3 cup cornmeal
1/3 cup self rising flour
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
Topping
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 large eggs
directions
In a skillet with some olive oil, saute the onions until wilted and tender. Add the spinach and cover and cook until any liquids are absorbed. Remove from heat.
In a large bowl, mix eggs and cheeses, then combine well with spinach mixture.
In another bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder and sugar and blend into spinach mixture.
Pour into a greased 9" x 13" baking pan. Whisk the topping ingredients and pour evenly over mixture in pan. Bake at 350 degrees F about 40-45 minutes or until golden and set.
Cool slightly before cutting into pieces. Serve as a side dish or appetizer.
