ingredients
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup vegetable shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 package semisweet chocolate chips, melted
1 cup mashed bananas
directions
Sift dry ingredients together.
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, chocolate chips, bananas, and flour mixture. Mix thoroughly.
Bake at 400 degrees F for 12-15 minutes on ungreased cookie sheets.
