Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.
What's the secret ingredient in these cakes? Pudding mix. It not only adds flavor but it gives the cake a richer, creamier texture. No one will know your secret ingredient!

This recipe is an oldie, but a goodie. I have been making these cookies since I was a little girl, helping my mom make Christmas cookies and now as 70-year-old. They are delicious and are different enough and pretty enough to make any plate of cookies look special. However, don't wait until a special occasion to make these, as they are great any time of the year.
