ingredients

***Casserole***
2 cups diced cooked ham
2 cups Cheddar cheese, grated
1 can (10.75 ounce size) cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup margarine, melted
1 dash onion powder
2 pounds Southern-style hash browns, thawed
***Topping***
4 cups crushed corn flakes
1/2 cup margarine, melted

directions

Stir together all casserole ingredients in 2 quart baking dish, making sure there are no "dry" areas. Smooth top.

In separate bowl, mix topping ingredients until well coated.

Cover top of casserole evenly with topping mixture. Cover tightly with foil.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes. Remove foil, and continue baking for 15 minutes or until bubbly in the middle.

Note: You can also put together the potato mixture ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to use - don't make the topping until you bake it.
