- add review
- #72872

1-2 hrs
ingredients
3 cans crescent rolls
1 package (8 ounce size) cream cheese
1 small can well-drained mushrooms, or fresh mushrooms, chopped
directions
Open can of crescents and unfold. DO NOT SEPARATE THEM. Press seams together to make sure they stay together.
Whip the cream cheese and then add mushrooms. Spread on the dough evenly. Roll up the dough to make a long log. Put in freezer for 1 hour. This is just to help make them easier to cut in slices.
Cut them in 1/2-inch or thinner slices. Put on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees F for 10 to 13 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot.
cook's notes
You can substitute the mushrooms with finely chopped pepperoni, chopped green or black olives, jalapenos or even ham. Whatever you like to go with the cream cheese.
These are great to make ahead and freeze uncooked and then cook them when you want them. Yummy!

Nutritional data has not been calculated yet.Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
