Sherried Chicken Livers

ingredients
1 pound chicken livers, floured
salt
black pepper
cooking oil
1/4 cup butter
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
1 tablespoon sherry
directions
Flour chicken livers. Salt and pepper them. Saute a few at a time in oil until good and brown.
In another pan, heat butter. Cook chopped onion until clear. Add mushrooms and cook a few minutes. Add the livers and sherry to pan and simmer about 5 minutes.
