ingredients
1 1/2 pound ground beef
5 slices bread
1/2 cup water
2 teaspoons chives, minced
1 tablespoon salt
pepper, to taste
1/4 teaspoon celery salt
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon onion salt
6 dashes Worcestershire sauce
4 dashes hot sauce, or to taste
2 eggs
1 1/2 pound cocktail smokies
BBQ SAUCE
16 ounces tomato sauce
1/4 cup butter
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
3 teaspoons BBQ spice
5 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons vinegar
10 dashes hot sauce, or to taste
2 teaspoons liquid smoke
1 1/2 cup chili sauce
directions
Combine hamburger and the next 12 ingredients. Shape into small meatballs and saute until done. Set aside.
Combine sauce ingredients and cook until thick. Add meatballs and smokie links to sauce. Cook over low heat until links are heated through. Serve hot.
