1 egg white, stiffly beaten
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups pecan halves
directions
Add sugar to stiffly beaten egg white and continue beating until well-blended. Add vanilla. Stir in pecan halves and continue stirring until nuts are completely covered.
Place nuts individually on greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 250 degrees F oven 30 minutes. Turn oven off and let nuts remain in oven 30 minutes longer.
Loosen nuts from cookie sheet with spatula while hot. Store in tightly covered container when cool. Pretty and good.
