1 can (14 ounce size) sweetened condensed milk 3 cups flake style coconut 1 teaspoon almond extract 1 cup sliced almonds 1 cup chocolate chips (or other flavor you prefer) 10 Maraschino cherries, cut in half and well drained
Heat oven to 375. Combine all ingredients EXCEPT the cherries. Using a cookie scoop, drop onto a greased and floured or sprayed cookie sheet to form 20 macaroons. Place a cherry half on top of each one. Bake 10 minutes. Cool 3 minutes on the pan. Remove to a rack to finish cooling.
