Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.
Green Tea Shortbread

- #114482
ingredients
4 Japanese green tea bags
2 cups flour (approximately)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
directions
Place contents of tea bags in coffee grinder and finely process. Combine flour, tea and salt in bowl and set aside.
In mixer beat butter until creamy. Beat in sugar until fluffy. Beat in vanilla.
On low speed beat in enough flour mixture for shortbread consistency. On lightly floured board roll dough 1/4 inch thick. Using a small cookie cutter, cut out shapes.
Place on parchment lined baking sheets. Bake at 325 degrees F for 15 to 17 minutes or just until cookies are firm and start to color around edges. Be careful not to over-bake them. Remove to rack to cool completely. May be frozen.

If you're a fan of the menu at this American chain of restaurants which serves a variety of foods such as burgers, steaks, pasta, and seafood then you'll love this collection of copycat recipes.
It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

I loved the idea of you green tea cookie. I work at Starbucks and love their Green Tea Latte's made with the Motcha Powder so I used that instead of the tea bags. It was really good and I wanted to thanks you for the idea. Ultimate Cook
