1/3 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons brandy
1 cup flour
1/8 teaspoon salt

Position knife blade in food processor bowl; add butter and sugar, and pulse 5 times. Sprinkle with brandy, and add flour and salt. Process 30 seconds or until well-blended, stopping once to scrape sides of bowl.
Shape dough into 3/4-inch balls, and place on ungreased cookie sheets. Dip a cookie stamp or the bottom of a glass in sugar and flatten each ball. Bake at 350 degrees F for 12 to 18 minutes or until edges begin to brown. Remove to wire racks to cool.
