Old Fashioned Butter Drop Cookies

ingredients
1 3/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup milk
directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Sift together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Set aside.
Cream together the butter and sugar until very light. Add egg and blend well; mix in vanilla. Gradually add dry mixture to creamed mixture. Slowly blend in milk.
Drop cookies on a greased cookie sheet, placing each 2" apart. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
