Tender crockpot ribs with a sweet and savory sauce. Maple syrup and steak sauce cooked with the ribs lends the meat a fantastic flavor and gives you a dipping sauce to boot.

The ribs are very tender. I removed them from the sauce and put the sauce on the stove in a pan and cooked it down a bit until almost syrupy and served it as extra sauce on the side.

Great flavor. We still dipped the ribs in BBQ sauce, but the meat had a very good taste. My family loved it.
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.
