Grand Parmesan Garlic Bread

ingredients
1 loaf (8 ounce size) unsliced French bread
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 envelope garlic-herb soup mix
1 teaspoon sweet paprika
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
directions
Preheat broiler for 10 minutes. Slice the bread in half lengthwise and put it on a baking sheet.
In a medium bowl, cream the butter together with the soup mix, paprika, and half of the cheese. Spread the mixture over each half of the bread. Sprinkle on the remaining cheese.
Broil the bread until it is golden brown and serve it hot.
