ingredients
1 tablespoon butter
1 1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons hickory Liquid Smoke
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
1 can (16 ounce size) red beans, drained
1 can (15.8 ounce size) Great Northern beans, drained
directions
Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add onion, bell pepper and garlic. Cook for 4 minutes.
Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Bake uncovered at 375 degrees F for 40 minutes or until the top is lightly browned.
