Barbecue Butter Beans

ingredients
3 cans (15.5 ounce size) butter beans, half the broth drained
1 teaspoon dry mustard
2 cups brown sugar
1 can (28 ounce size) whole tomatoes, drained and chopped
10 slices bacon
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1/2 cup prepared yellow mustard
1 medium onion, chopped
directions
Combine beans, tomatoes, mustards, and brown sugar in a 3-quart casserole dish or pan.
Fry bacon until crisp. Crumble and set aside.
Saute pepper and onion in a little bacon drippings. Add sauteed vegetables to bean mixture. Sprinkle crumbled bacon on top.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.
