Chinese-Style Brussels Sprouts With Hoisin Glaze

ingredients
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 tablespoons peeled and minced fresh ginger
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
2 pounds small Brussels sprouts, washed, trimmed, and halved
3 tablespoons mirin rice wine
1 tablespoon soy sauce
7 tablespoons hoisin sauce
toasted sesame oil
directions
Heat the oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the ginger and onion to the wok. Cook, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes. Add the garlic and continue to stir while cooking for 1 more minute.
Add the Brussels sprouts and rice wine. Cook, stirring often, for 5 minutes or until the Brussels sprouts start to soften.
Add the soy sauce and hoisin sauce and let cook for 3 more minutes, stirring frequently.
When the sprouts are the desired doneness, drizzle them with a little sesame oil and serve immediately.
