ingredients
6 tablespoons butter
1 cup sliced mushrooms
6 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
2 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cup cooked seafood*, drained and cut in large pieces
1/2 cup chopped or slivered green pepper
1/2 cup chopped pimiento
buttered toast
directions
* Shrimp, lobster, crab meat or any other type seafood may be used.
Saute mushrooms in butter for 10 minutes. Remove from heat.
Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened. Gently stir in seafood, green pepper and pimiento.
Serve on buttered toast.
