This seafood dinner is a delicious casserole dish perfect for any occasion. It is full of flavor and texture, with a combination of crab meat and shrimp and a crunchy crumb topping.

ingredients

1 pound crab meat, picked over and lightly flaked
1 pound cooked shrimp, deveined (chopped if large)
1 cup finely chopped onion
1 cup finely chopped celery
1 cup light mayonnaise
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup lowfat sour cream
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
2 tablespoons butter, melted

directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 3-quart baking dish.

Combine the crab, shrimp, onion, celery, mayonnaise, bell pepper, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and sour cream in a bowl. Stir gently to combine.

Spoon the seafood mixture into the prepared baking dish.

In a small bowl, combine the bread crumbs and melted butter. Mix well then sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the top of the seafood.

Place the baking dish in the oven and bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes or until the crumbs are golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.

Serve hot.

    This is very good. I made it low carb by omitting the bread crumbs and sprinkling a little shredded cheddar on top. Also delicious cold in a low carb wrap.

    This was absolutely delicious! My husband and I had to force ourselves to stop eating it. The only changes I made were to add a little shredded cheddar on top, plus I was out of celery. It was outstanding.
