Clay Baker - Hungarian Chicken Paprika

ingredients
3 1/2 pounds whole chicken, cut into serving pieces
2 large onions, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 1/2 tablespoon Hungarian paprika
salt and pepper
4 medium potatoes, cut as for French frying
1 cup sour cream (optional)
4 slices bacon
directions
Soak the lid of a clay baker. Put bacon, onions and green pepper into the clay baker. Add salted and peppered chicken pieces, then sprinkle with paprika.
Cover and bake at 425 degrees F for 20 minutes. Add potatoes and bake for another 60 minutes.
Remove clay baker from oven. Add sour cream. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes. Serve with crusty French bread.
