Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.

I had the same impression as the other reviewer initially but after reading their review I decided to try it. I did alter it a bit and used boneless thighs only and reduced the cooking time because usually boneless cooks faster. I served the chicken with sauce over egg noodles. I will definitely make this again as the whole family liked it. I think you could also add veggies in with the chicken.

Wow this was good! So simple - I didn't expect it to really be all that interesting but the sauce really is good and the chicken is incredibly tender but not falling off the bone either.
