A handful of spicy shrimp is a great way to add protein to a veggie-packed bowl of fried rice or noodle stir-fry. Soy sauce and red pepper do most of the flavoring, and you can toss in a little ginger to add some aromatic spice.

2 tablespoons cooking oil
1 cup soy sauce
2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
3 cloves garlic, crushed
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 red bell pepper, seeded and cut in thin strips
1/2 yellow bell pepper, seeded and cut in thin strips
cooked rice or noodles, for serving
sliced green onion tops, for garnish
Stir together the soy sauce, crushed red pepper, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and onion powder until well mixed.
Heat the oil in a wok or heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Add the bell pepper strips and cook, stirring, for 1 minute.
Add the soy sauce mixture and cook, stirring constantly, until the shrimp is cooked through, about 3 minutes.
Serve the shrimp and vegetables over rice or Asian-style noodles. Sprinkle with sliced green onion just before serving.

The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.
