Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.

The recipe is good! It tastes a lot like Outback's. However, I would caution you with the Cayenne pepper. The amount the recipe calls for makes them VERY spicy. I think they are better without it all. But, that's my preference. Alos, it does not take all of the work that the recipe calls for. All we did, and they turned out fine, was mix the dry ingredients in the bowl (took us much more than recipe called for - we had 4 lbs. shrimp, but we had to fix enough seasoning for like 20 lb.s) then take and either put it in a ziploc bag and put the shrimp in and shake it, or dab the shrimp on each side in the bowl. Then saute them until just pink in the olive oil, and then grill them for a minute. They are great! Just watch the pepper!
