This easy-to-make recipe features succulent shrimp cooked in a savory and fragrant sauce of sake, garlic, and butter. Perfect for a quick dinner or a fancy meal.
1 teaspoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon minced shallots
8 ounces shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 cup sake
3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh parsley
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and shallots and cook, stirring frequently, until they start to turn golden brown, about 2 minutes.
Add the shrimp and sake to the pan. Cook, stirring frequently, until the pink have turned pink and opaque, about 3 minutes.
Add the butter, soy sauce, and parsley to the skillet. Cook for 1 minute, stirring to melt the butter and coat the shrimp in the sauce.
Serve hot. Delicious over rice or pasta or as a topper to grilled steak or salmon.

I cooked this for the family and add vegetables and served on rice! It was such a hit I had to cook it again the next night!

I have made this twice in less than a week! EASY, FAST, and delicious! The second time I combined it with lobster ravioli and topped it with fresh shredded parmesan. My son "freaked" out. Said it was as good, if not better than any 5 star restaurant.
