ingredients
1 pound fresh large jumbo shrimp, uncooked and still in shell
1 cup beer
1/4 cup white wine
3 ounces lemon juice
1 pinch each salt & white pepper
1 tablespoon seasoned salt
1 lemon, cut into wedges
1 1/2 cup cocktail sauce
directions
In a large 2-quart saucepan, add the beer, wine, lemon juice, salt/white pepper, and seasoning salt. Turn on high heat and bring to a boil.
Add shrimp and cover pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until the shrimp turn a reddish-pink color and stirring the shrimp 1-2 times. Remove from heat and place the shrimp in an oval bowl or shrimp boat plate.
Pour some sauce over shrimp and generously sprinkle seasoning salt over shrimp and garnish with some parsley flakes sprinkled over shrimp.
Serve with fresh lemon wedges and cocktail sauce. Peel and eat shrimp.
