ingredients
1 pound Italian sausage
8 eggs
10 slices bread, cubed
3 cups milk
2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 package (10 ounce size) frozen chopped broccoli, thawed
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon dry mustard
2 teaspoons basil
1 teaspoon salt
directions
In skillet, brown sausage, drain. Beat eggs in large bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bake one hour or until set.

This made a great breakfast casserole. And I love that it's made the night before which makes it great for when you have guests over. We had a house full of people and it made the morning routine very simple. I only had to have an hour lead time to get it in the oven instead of getting up extra early and assembling the dish.
