ingredients
36 slices (.25 inch thick) baguette
1 package (3 ounce size) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup blue cheese, crumbled
1/2 cup fig preserves or jam
directions
Broil baguette slices on a baking sheet 3 inches from heat for 1-2 minutes on each side or until lightly toasted. Remove from baking sheet and reduce oven temp to 350 degrees F.
Stir together cream cheese and blue cheese in a small bowl until well blended. Spread a heaping 1/2 teaspoon cream cheese mixture onto each baguette slice. Top each with a rounded 1/2 teaspoon fig preserves.
Bake at 350 degrees F on the middle rack for 8-10 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
