Butterfinger Banana Cake

What a delicious way to dress up a box of cake mix! Stir in some mashed ripe banana and chopped Butterfinger candy bars for a decadent treat.

ingredients

1 package (18.25 ounce size) yellow cake mix, plus ingredients to prepare
2 medium, ripe bananas, mashed
3 Butterfinger candy bars, chopped, divided
1 container (16 ounce size) white frosting

directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour 13 x 9-inch baking pan.

Prepare cake mix batter according to package directions, stir in banana and 3/4 cup of the chopped Butterfinger bars. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 to 50 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.

Cool the cake in the pan on a wire rack.

When the cake is cool, frost with the white frosting. Sprinkle the remaining chopped Butterfinger bars over the top.

    I used a combination of milky way and snickers for this as that's what we had leftover. It is quite good. Don't anticipate having it last very long!
