ingredients
1 package lime gelatin
1 cup sugar
1 bottle (2-liter size) 7-Up or ginger ale
4 cups boiling water
3 cups pineapple juice
directions
Mix all ingredients together except 7-Up. Place in a container and freeze for 4-5 hours.
Remove from freezer when mixture is slushy. Fill glasses half full of slush. Fill remainder of glass with 7-Up.
This can also be used in punch bowl. Place all punch in a 12-inch serving bowl and add 7-Up.

when a recipe doesn't specify the size package you can usually assume the "standard" or most common size. Which in this case is the smaller size. A good rule of thumb if you aren't sure which is the most common size, look on your grocery store shelf, it will be the one that takes up the most room and has the most flavor options.
