This creamy ice cream has almost a light, coffee flavor to it from the Guinness. It's definitely a grown-up flavor of ice cream, but even beer-haters will enjoy it.

We had a beer themed birthday party for my husband. Beer was in EVERYTHING. This was one of the desserts and he loved it.

Given that Guinness has such a strong flavor I was curious how this recipe would turn out. The end result was a subtle flavor with a creamy texture. It's an ice cream you could eat plain or serve with a pastry or dessert.

It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).
