ingredients
2 pounds cooking apples (Winesap, McIntosh, Jonathan, Rome Beauty)
3 tablespoons bacon drippings
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
directions
Wash apples and core but do not peel. Cut into slices about 1/4 inch thick.
