- #127464

30-60 minutes
ingredients
1 can (29 ounce size) pear halves in syrup, drained, sliced
1 can (21 ounce size) cherry pie or light cherry pie filling
1 can (8-count size) refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
directions
Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a 2 qt. saucepan, mix pears and pie filling. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring frequently until mixture boils. Pour into an ungreased 11 x 7-inch or a 2 qt. glass baking dish.
Separate dough into individual rolls, and set icing aside. Place rolls, cinnamon side up, over hot fruit mixture.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until rolls are deep golden brown and fruit is bubbly. Spread icing over hot rolls. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
NOTE: Peaches, either halves or slices in syrup, can be substituted for the pear halves, and blueberry pie filling substituted for the cherry pie filling.

This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.
