ingredients

1 loaf French bread
1 can mushrooms, sliced, drained
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, diced
1 can (15 ounce size) tomato sauce
1 package Mozzarella cheese slices

directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Scoop out the center of the bread to make a boat shape.

Brown the ground beef, then stir in the tomato sauce, mushrooms and onion. Simmer 2-3 minutes or until onion is soft.

Place the bread on a baking sheet. Spoon mixture into the bread boat. Top with slice of cheese. Heat at 350 degrees F for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese melts.

Slice to serve.
