Tomato-Bacon Pomodoro Sauce

ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 pound bacon, finely diced
1/2 medium onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 can (14.5 ounce size) crushed tomatoes
5 tablespoons tomato paste
2/3 cup chicken broth
1/4 teaspoon basil
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
directions
Place oil and bacon in pan. Cook bacon until brown. Add onion and garlic and cook until soft.
Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer for 3 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve over prepared ravioli or tortellini.
