2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
directions
Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl. Beat on medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Add more milk if needed for a thinner consistency or more powdered sugar if a thicker frosting is needed.
Use immediately.

Super easy and the perfect amount for a double layer cake. I was out of milk, so I substituted evaporated milk. It worked great! I used it to frost a banana cake. I can't eat a banana without peanut butter on it, and I can't eat banana cake without peanut butter frosting, like my grandma used to make.

This recipie is great. i had to add a lot more pb though, and also if you half it , it will frost 30 regular cupcakes. But it tastes AMAZING!

This is an awesome recipe! I needed a quick frosting for my cake-like chocolate, chocolate chip brownies and this did the trick. It was quick, easy and delicious! My children gave me the "best mom ever" award and one of them is a picky eater, thanks for sharing this recipe! :-)

let me tell ya, i wanted brownies for dessert with PB icing tonight because my friend had mention buying them from a grocery store, and paid alot for them, anyway, made the brownies, found this recipe, and if the brownies dont cool soon, there wont be any frosting left for them, the very best PB frosting i have ever made, and simply delicious, thanks for sharing!

Very easy, even my 2 year old was able to make it. It was a little creamier than I would usually like, but worked pouring it onto a hot cake (melted into it a bit). Overall, very happy with it and will use again!

This frosting is amazing and VERY easy to make. I doubled the recipe to make my cake (2 9 inch cakes) and also to make the 24 cupcakes. Wonderful recipe!

This was really a great recipe. I was worried because I only had salted butter in the fridge but it still turned out just fine. I only added 1.5 cups of confect. sugar just to make it even creamier and combined all ingredients at room temperature. I will use this easy recipe again!

This recipe is awesome! My husband loves brownies and he thought the peanut butter icing was delicious. I mixed the butter, milk and peanut butter first. Then, I gradually added the sugar. The recipe was really easy to make.

Wonderful recipe! I just made over 3 dozen chocolate cupcakes with this icing for my daughter's birthday. Of course, I had to have one too, and the combination chocolate/peanut butter icing is a killer! Very easy to make and delicious! Highly recommend it to anyone who likes peanut butter!

Easy and yummy! I'm a beginner and even I couldn't mess this up. I used creamy, unsweetened peanut butter from Trader Joe's (roasted peanuts, nothing else) so my frosting wasn't grossly sweet. Just make sure the butter is room temperature--it's much easier to whip.
