ingredients
2/3 cup butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup sour cream
2 3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
yellow and green food coloring
raisins or nuts
directions
Heat oven to 375 deg. Mix butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until fluffy. Measure flour by dipping or sifting method. Blend dry ingredients into butter mixture. Divide dough into in to 2 portions; color half yellow and half green. Drop dough by heaping tsp. onto greased baking sheets. Press raisin or nut into center of each cookie. Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
