ingredients
3 1/4 cups soft butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 3/4 cup sifted flour
8 ounces chocolate star candies
directions
Cream the first 5 ingredients together. Stir in the flour. Chill in the bowl covered with wax paper for 1 hour.
Shape into 12 balls. Place a star candy onto the center of each cookie. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees F.
