ingredients

1 package (16 ounce size) stadium-style bratwurst, sliced
1 can (15 ounce size) white beans
1 can (15 ounce size) pinto beans
1 medium tomato, chopped
1/4 cup water
1 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
3/4 teaspoon cumin
2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped

Toppings

shredded cheddar cheese
chopped avocado
chopped chile peppers
tortilla chips

directions

In large saucepan, combine brats, white beans pinto beans, tomato water, chili powder and cumin.

Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer 10-15 minutes. Stir in cilantro and serve with your choice of toppings.

I and my eleven year old daughter made a double pot of this great recipe. We were very tired of white brats on the grill. Bored more like it. This recipe will be a family favorite now on. We also added peppers and onions. I like a chunky chili. This was very delicious. Thank you.

I used turkey brats and this chili was wonderful
