Butter Mints Recipe

Serves/Makes: 10
Ingredients:
1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup light corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 pound powdered sugar
coloring (if desired)
few drops mint oil flavoring
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in large mixing bowl; knead with hands until smooth. Form into balls or press into flexible molds. Let finished candies air dry for 1 or 2 hours, so that you can pick them up easily. This recipe can be dipped in chocolate coatings.
