1 package (18.5 ounce size) devil's food cake mix
1/2 cup melted butter or margarine
3 eggs, in all
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 package (1 pound size) confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup chocolate chips
directions
Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine cake mix, melted butter and 1 egg in a bowl, mixing well. Press into the bottom of a 9-by-13-inch glass-baking dish.
Beat cream cheese and confectioners' sugar in a bowl until light. Add the 2 remaining eggs and mix well.
Spread over the chocolate cake mix layer. Sprinkle with the chocolate chips.
Bake for 40 minutes. Cool, then cut into squares.
