Low Fat Slow Cooker Apple Butter

ingredients

8 pounds apples, peeled, cored and diced
1 1/2 cup apple juice
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

directions

Combine the apples and apple juice in a blender and puree until smooth. Combine the apple puree with the cinnamon and nutmeg in the crock pot.

Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 6 hours, stirring occasionally.

Let the apple butter cool then transfer to jars and store in the refrigerator.
