ingredients

1 package devils food cake mix
1 package (6 ounce size) chocolate chips
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup melted butter or margarine

directions

Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour in to two well greased and floured 9 inch round cake pans. Mix together the chocolate chips, crumbs, nuts and butter together and sprinkle over cake batter.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool in pans for 15 minutes. Remove and cool on rack crunch side up.

Ice between layers and top with 1 cup cream whipped with 4 tablespoons sugar. Or you may leave cake plain and simply cut in wedges and serve with vanilla ice cream.
